Top tips for kids this trick or treating season -

Toothbrushing

  • Brush twice a day; in the morning and last thing at night
  • For 2 minutes
  • Use age-appropriate fluoride concentration
  • Spit, don’t rinse!
  • Supervised until 7 years old

Diet

  • Only have sugar at meal times
  • Drink only water or milk between meals
  • Snack on sugar-free foods
  • Nothing to eat or drink after brushing
  • Look out for hidden sugars and acid content.
